About me
You might be reading this because you're experiencing a tough time right now. Perhaps you have some thoughts about the cause or are unsure why you feel this way. No matter the reason, the journey to understand yourself better is powerful, and I could be the right person to support you on this path.
I provide a safe space and a relational approach, exploring your personal story and experiences to uncover your unconscious beliefs. This process could help you feel empowered and make informed decisions about your future.
Counselling with me involves delving into your unconscious mind by revisiting early childhood experiences and connecting with your inner child to heal lingering emotions. By identifying the core experiences that shape who you are today, we can explore how you want to live moving forward, redefining your values and beliefs, and finding freedom in shaping your future.
Being a second-generation South Asian, I understand how external influences like culture can shape our identity and the conflicts that arise when trying to live according to our own voice.
As a registered member of the BACP with an integrative counselling qualification, I use various approaches to meet clients' holistic needs, offering a person-centred environment and incorporating psychodynamic and existential techniques to support growth and wellbeing. I have extensive experience as a grief and palliative counsellor, as well as working in the field of mental health working at the mental health charity Mind and privately supporting clients on issues such as trauma, identity, anxiety, low mood, and more areas.
If you resonate with what you've read or are curious about what your therapy journey might look like, please feel free to explore my website or contact me directly.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
