At this difficult time, I am offering clients telephone and video sessions on a number of platforms including Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp.
Coping with life's difficulties can feel overwhelming and can lead to you struggling emotionally Making the decision to seek therapy can sometimes feel like a daunting experience but it can also be a liberating one. There is often a message in our feelings of depression, loss, anxiety and panic that it is important that we listen to. As such, times of crisis in our lives can also provide important opportunities to grow and change.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP. I have 25 years of experience as a therapist working both in private practice and in the NHS. I see both individuals and couples from my practices in Isleworth, Brentford Middlesex and Hendon, North West London.
Counselling and psychotherapy is a collaborative process where the aim is to help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings so that you can then make informed decisions about what you can do to begin to feel more in control of your life. Often just putting things into words can help you to see how to move forward. Sometimes looking into the past can also be important in helping you to understand more about your present circumstances and help you to bring about lasting change. Challenging negative thinking and trying out new ways of behaving can also be important aspects of the therapeutic experience.
Some of the areas I specialise in include, depression and anxiety, stress and how to manage it, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties, coping with ill health, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, work related issues, low self esteem, and feelings of inadequacy and despair.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
