About me
Welcome, I am Siofra, a compassionate counsellor with a calm, caring nature and have a passion for helping others.
I understand there are times we can get overwhelmed with feelings from the world we are living in and the things life has thrown at us and I believe that everyone deserves the chance to understand themselves more, which is something counselling can help with.
Starting your counselling journey can be a scary step which is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation via telephone or Zoom to see what it is going on for you and what you feel may help (it's okay not to know). This is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have.
The space I provide is safe, non-judgmental and a place for you to be seen and heard. I offer open-ended counselling, which gives time to build a therapeutic relationship and for you to feel comfortable with sharing your story with me.
I am an integrative counsellor who has worked with both adults and children and have tailored my approach depending on individual needs. The main therapeutic modalities I bring into my practice are person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, as well as mindfulness techniques.
