About me

Are you wanting to create change? Feeling lost? Maybe you are at a crossroads in your life, asking yourself “Who am I?” or “Where am I going in life?”

If so, I’d like to help you.

I’m Sindy, a qualified and MBACP registered counsellor based in Cleethorpes.

Although I trained as a person-centered counsellor, I use an integrative approach to my work enabling me to draw on a number of therapeutic methods to suit your needs. Together we will look at all influencing factors in your life for your wellness and self -development.

In addition to my counselling skills I also combine my spiritual & natural healing knowledge for a completely holistic approach.

I believe therapy is your time to feel heard and gives you the opportunity to express your feelings in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

To help find your strength and direction we will look at your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing where necessary & appropriate.

Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery which can feel liberating, empowering, life changing and will hopefully uncover the real you.

I will assist you in your process of identifying any goals and then support your journey of growth and transformation towards optimum wellbeing & happiness.

My passion is to support people holistically, aiming to facilitate healing to your mind, body and spirit.

As a professional requirement and for my personal wellbeing I am fully insured and supported by regular supervision.

When not working my passions are yoga, meditation, exercise, reading and being out in nature.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
