About me

Whether you have experienced therapy before, or just exploring - thank you for visiting my site. This can be an overwhelming time, when you have identified some areas you are struggling with and wondering about what support is available for yourself or a loved one. I guess there is a part of you that knows what you are looking for and I would like to acknowledge you for taking the first step by reading this today. I encourage you to have a look around, message me or call me for an initial chat if you would like to find out more about the services I offer and how we could work together. My services are available online, by phone, in person in a campervan or meandering through nature in Berkshire

Training, qualifications & experience

As a registered member of BACP and nearly 20 years experience of working in private hospitals, mental health services, drug rehabilitation services and children’s and family’s charities, I have developed a rich and solid therapeutic understanding of past and current counselling principles. I completed my initial training in integrative counselling and subsequently studied various models of therapy and currently studying a diploma in trauma therapy.

I have experience working with a range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, addictive behaviour, personality disorders, grief and loss, life changes, trauma, identity, attachment and abandonment, sexuality, relationship issues, work challenges, parenting, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and other life struggles.
I work in an integrative way, incorporating a range of therapeutic models into my practice. I take a keen interest in how trauma, stress and emotions affect the mind and body working in a real, genuine, holistic and compassionate way.

My passion is helping people create a life worth living with a richness, diversity and freedom to release creativity and wholeness into their lives.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
