My name is Sidra Khan and I'm a fully qualified, accredited psychotherapist/ counsellor who is also trained in clinical hypnotherapy. I work mainly from a person-centred approach and also implement an integrative approach to therapy to suit the individual client needs. I also hold an honours degree in psychology.


I'm an accredited member of the National Counselling Society which is accredited by the professional standards authority. I'm an NHS approved Clinical Hypnotherapist and a registered member of the prestigious, National Council of Hypnotherapy as well as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. (The CNHC register) The NCH, CNHC and NCS are all accredited by the professional standards authority which accredits registers to help people of the public get better care by ensuring that the health practitioners they register are competent, trustworthy and trained to a high standard. The professional standards authority is recognised by the NHS and the Department of Health has recommended that where people are looking for healthcare therapists they use someone who is CNHC registered OR accredited by the professional standards authority.

I'm also a licensed Hypnoband practitioner and trained NLP practitioner.

I have had various comprehensive trainings as part of my continued professional development, some of which include : Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depression, Anxiety, Trauma and Personality Disorders. (One day training with psychotherapy excellence )
Cognitive behavioural therapy training for Anxiety disorders and OCD. (16 hours certified training) As well as “an introduction to online and telephone counselling” (10 hours)

Counselling sessions via in the room are £60 per session. (Cost of living crisis special offer, usual price is £75)
