Sian Williams MBACP, MSc
We all have challenges in our lives which we generally manage through our own resources. There are however times and circumstances where we may feel we need to try something different or seek additional support which is where counselling can help.
As a counsellor I offer clients the opportunity to explore anything they like in a safe, supportive and non judgmental environment.
I believe counselling provides a space to:
- focus free from distraction
- make sense of your thoughts and feelings
- view or manage issues differently
- learn something new
- grow in self-awareness.
How do I work?
I am a humanistic counsellor which means I help clients explore their circumstances without taking control, this process allows clients to reflect and work out their own solutions, finding a fit that works within their lives.
In order to offer this I work flexibly drawing on a wide range of therapeutic ideas to accommodate individual’s needs. Giving a true sense of what to expect here can be difficult and I feel one of the most important factors in successful counselling is finding a good fit between counsellor and client. I welcome all enquiries, as this gives us an opportunity to look together at what you want and need from counselling deciding if that is something we can achieve together or look at alternative options before you commit to anything.
What happens next?
I have worked extensively with clients who find the idea of talking to someone they don’t know and trust difficult. If this sounds like you an initial appointments can be arranged by calling or sending a text to: 07989 160362 or click here to send me an email or through a 3rd party and when we meet I can talk through a range of options that may make counselling more manageable for you.
