Metanoia Therapy And Coaching - S. Wallace
I am a qualified, experienced Integrative counsellor with a diverse clinical portfolio which includes a range of mental-health and life issues. I am compassionate, empathetic and passionate about mental, emotional, relational and spiritual well-being.
As an Integrative Counsellor, my therapeutic model draws from CBT, Systemic, Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapeutic approaches. My style is relational and my perspective is holistic, encompassing the mind, body, emotions and spirituality.
You - the Client:
I currently work with individual adults, adolescents and families offering short-term, solution focused therapy as well as longer term therapy for a wide range of mental, relational and life issues. Each client is unique and each session is tailored to meet you where you are, moving at the pace that best suits you.
How counselling can help:
Different seasons in life can bring challenging circumstances, some of which can feel overwhelming. Having a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space with a professional who draws alongside you and is committed to your well-being, can go a long way in helping discover different, healthier ways of facing these challenges.
Training, qualifications & experience
- BA(Hons), Middlesex University.
- Registered member, MBACP.
- Certificate in Family Therapy.
I have worked with different agencies across a wide demographic and range of presenting issues. My counselling experience spans several years and includes individual adults, adolescents and families; drawing alongside female survivors of sexual violence and supporting families of those struggling with substance abuse. I have managed a counselling service alongside my own private practice and have worked closely with GP's, employers, churches and other care-providing agencies in providing therapeutic support. Some key areas of my work include anxiety disorders, depression, bereavement, relationship issues, redundancy, stress, self-esteem, major life changes and porn addiction.
