About me

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist based in Ayrshire. I work predominantly with a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach and also draw on many different types of therapeutic approaches to provide a more integrative and tailored therapy for you.

There are times when we all experience situations that cause distress or uncertainty. It can be difficult to move past these events or to speak to those close to us.

My aim is to provide you with a safe and secure space where we will work collaboratively to find the solutions that work for you.  Altering your beliefs about yourself will empower you to move forward and, ultimately, you can become your own therapist by applying new skills and techniques to old patterns of thinking and behaving, helping you to regain control and lead your life the way you want to.

  • I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and adhere to their 'Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics'.

  • I am fully insured with BALENS Specialist Insurance Brokers

  • I attend regular supervision with a BABCP accredited supervisor to ensure my practise is ethical and to the highest standard

  • Member of CBT'ers club (networking, discussion, supervision and social group for trainee and qualified psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches, psychologists, mental health practitioners etc using CBT in their clinical practice with clients
