Sheila Ince MA MBACP
I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist and counsellor working with individuals, couples and families on a wide range of relationship issues such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem. In addition I can help with bereavement and loss including abortion, miscarriage and still births. I can also help couples who are struggling with communication, trust issues, difficulties pre and post- divorce and second relationships in later life.
I am fully trained in a number of theoretical models and this enables me to adapt my approach and find the most suitable one to help you with your particular issues. My aim is to establish a good rapport with all clients and I provide a safe, empathetic, non-judgemental environment where I can help you to explore ways to resolve your issues and take back control of your life.
I am a registered BACP member and work to their ethical guidelines. I hold a current DBS certificate and have full Indemnity Insurance. I undertake regular supervision and attend Continuing Professional Development courses to ensure that I am aware of all new developments in the world of therapy.
I realise that it is hard to take the first step and ask for help so you can contact me by email or mobile for a short informal chat if that makes it easier for you.
Normally I work in the centre of Harrogate where there is plenty of parking and within easy access of rail and bus stations.
At present I am working online via, Facetime, Zoom or Skype.
