About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed with life and struggling to cope? I am a professionally qualified psychotherapist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as a main approach but I also have training and experience in Person-centred and Psychodynamic therapy. I offer confidential therapy to help you work through your personal struggles and find your own inner strength. I believe that everyone is unique and finding the right approach of therapy for you is important.
CBT is a structured, goal orientated treatment that helps you to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and equips you with coping skills to deal with areas of difficulty. This evidence based treatment offers support with a range of issues such as Stress, Anxiety, Panic, Depression, PTSD, Phobias, OCD and Body Dysmorphia.
For me, it is important to work without judgement to foster an empathic, trustworthy and healing connection with each client, helping each person find their own path to recovery and a fuller life. This philosophy is informed by my extensive training and practical experience both as a psychologist and a qualified nurse.
