I am a Person-Centred Counsellor. This theoretical and practical approach is grounded in a belief in the resources of an individual to enable and effect change via the facilitation of the counsellor. For example, in moving from a distressed, stuck, depressed, overwhelmed or powerless experience of living to something which enables a greater sense of ‘well-being’.
As a Person-centred Practitioner, I am able to work with a range of unique experiences which are brought to the counselling room by individuals. Central to the success of this approach is the development of a therapeutic relationship. I facilitate this by providing an inviting, safe, confidential, non-judgemental space.
My particular interest is in our unique experience and relationship with nature and its potential for success in self-healing. I have created a counselling space which I hope reflects this.
I have experience of working with different age ranges. These include young people (16-18) and students (UCS/NUA).
I enjoy training and I am currently a tutor both on Introductory courses and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
I am now offering Supervision.
I offer 50 minute sessions and I can offer clients both time sensitive and longer term work.
Please call, text or email for further information on the counselling I offer and availability.
