About me

Great! Thank you for clicking on my profile!

I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and I work with people, over the age of 18, who may be experiencing anxiety, depression or stress.

Anxiety, depression and stress can be caused by many different factors. Whatever it is related to; work, relationship difficulties or self esteem issues, counselling with me offers you opportunity to explore any difficult experiences or issues which are causing you concern or distress. My aim is to help you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your situation, and to support you in any positive changes you may decide to make.

As we work together in the counselling process, this offers you the opportunity to rediscover your strengths and your innate ability to cope, resulting in the development of your self confidence.

If you need more information or if you would like to arrange a free 15 minute telephone conversation to find out if you would be happy working with me, please phone or email me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

Online Counselling - counselling with me is by video, voice only (VoIP) via Zoom or by email.

Research has shown that counselling via the internet (Online Counselling) can be just as effective as in-person counselling and that it is the relationship between the therapist and the client which is the most effective agent.
