Hi. My name is Sharon. I offer counselling in Cleckheaton and Wakefield which are both close to town centres.
My aim is to offer clients a safe, empathic and non-judgemental time and space in which you can begin to explore aspects of your life, yourself, or situations that are impacting on you and your life.
Counselling can be a journey and sometimes be challenging in that it sometimes questions some of our thinking and knowledge. By exploring risks in a safe and supportive environment, we can also learn about such "hurdles" and learn about ourselves, our relationships with others and better understand how we "fit" into the bigger picture. This can be done at your own pace.
The relationship between client and counsellor is fundamentally important and for counselling to be beneficial, it is important to feel comfortable within it.
I provide a professional and confidential space for exploration of issues for Young People from high school age to adults and mature Seniors to work through a range of issues:
These are areas of interest; however are not exhaustive.
