About me
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with over 13 Years’ experience of working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I provide individual therapy to both adults and children.
I offer psychological assessment, consultation and therapy to individuals with a range of mental health difficulties such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Addictions, Phobias, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Self-harm, Suicidal ideation.
I draw on a range of evidence based psychological therapies in line with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance. The form of therapy offered will depend on personal needs and preferences.
Currently I offer evening and weekend appointments. All appointments conducted online.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- PGDip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) - Including Advanced Child Training.
- Over 12 years experience working in Child and Adolescents Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Member organisations
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
