Sharlin Paul BA (Hons) Reg BACP
Are you going through a rough time? Finding life difficult at present?
Life at times can be a struggle but, that does not mean you have to deal with it alone!
I am here to help you explore your issues by being present with you to explore what you are going through. I am here to listen to how you feel and what you are going through, in doing so I apply empathy and I am non-judgemental. I am here to help you make sense of your feelings and how to deal with your issues. Sessions are confidential which makes it not only a space for you to be free but, for you to be able to express exactly what is going on for you.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I am present with your issues you bring to the sessions in order to help you heal yourself. In doing so I apply empathy (entering your world to have a full understand what is going on for you), I am genuine within our working relationship and I am non-judgemental to all clients I work with.
I have experience of working in a number of school settings working with children on a one-to-one counselling basis. I currently work for an agency counselling Women who are survivors of domestic abuse. I have previously worked with a range of clients (both males and females) with a number of presenting issues.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) who are a UK professional body, in which I work in accordance with their ethical framework.
Prior to becoming a counsellor I have worked within an Interactive design consultancy for a number of years, as well as seven years experience as a support worker for children and adults with severe disabilities and mental health issues.
Please feel free to message or phone me in order to arrange times and days which may be suitable for you. I initially offer a free 30 minute phone consultation and also able to offer home visits to those who are unable to attend sessions at the venues I work in.
Together we will talk about and explore what is going on for you, I value all my clients for the person they are and work by respecting each individual for who they are.
