Hello and Welcome
I am a professional person centered counsellor who is invested in helping others through their difficulties. I have a caring, nurturing nature and I am passionate about helping clients to achieve their full potential and live the best life they can.
I believe that offering a respectful, trusting and equal relationship in counselling is essential. It is my belief that this allows growth and healing to take place. I have found counselling can be a life changing empowering experience myself.
I work with children, young people and adults to offer different types of therapy to accommodate whatever you may need from therapy. Clients can have a feeling of being overwhelmed, being stuck and not knowing where to start. From my experience I have a tool box of strategies and coping techniques that may help.
I have a cosy, comfortable therapy room in hull which offers a safe space for you to explore your concerns, all sessions are confidential and I hold no judgement but will just be there to support your growth in your therapy journey. Due to Covid we are having to change some of the ways we work and I now offer phone or online sessions.
I am a member of the BACP which means I follow all ethical standards; I am insured and DBS checked.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
