About me
Hello, I have worked in the health service for 42years before going into private practice. During that time I refined my skill set, both as a family therapist and as an expert in complex and challenging children, including those with a learning disability or autism. I have worked in mental health including addictions /self harm -depression and low self esteem
I always work collaboratively, seeking to harness the strengths of the family and the individual. I have lots of different ways of working and it is my job to find which way works for you. I am accustomed to working with cases of high complexity, liaising with other professionals, where appropriate and with your permission.
A typical session lasts an hour in an undisturbed and tranquil environment
I have helped families and individuals work towards shared goals to improve their quality of life. I always seek your feedback at the end of every session. I can arrange an initial home visit if this is useful to you, however I believe that therapy requires a safe, detached environment, that I can provide at the hope xchange
I offer zoom sessions
Please feel free to email so we can arrange this and you can find out if i have the right skill set for you. I look forward to being of assistance to you.

UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
