It can be confusing trying to decide what type of counselling would suit you. Emotional Therapeutic Counselling is a very 21st century approach to counselling as it is holistic insofar as it treats mind, body and spirit of equal importance. It is gentle and supportive and focuses more on root causes rather than simply developing coping strategies. That is why I chose to qualify in Emotional Therapeutic Counselling.
In addition to being a qualified Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor I am also a full healer member of the The Healing Trust (formerly the National Federation of Spiritual Healers) and so healing can be integrated with counselling if desired.
You can find out more about Emotional Therapeutic Counselling from the Foundation for Emotional Therpeutic Counselling website.
