About me

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not yourself lately, you don’t have to go through it alone. As an integrative counsellor, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to talk, reflect, and begin to make sense of what’s going on — at your own pace and in your own way.

I work with people facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or periods of change and uncertainty. Whatever you're carrying, you’re welcome just as you are.

My approach is gentle, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from a range of therapeutic models to meet your individual needs and support you in exploring the deeper patterns, emotions, and experiences that might be affecting your wellbeing. This could mean untangling anxious thoughts, softening a harsh inner critic, or reconnecting with parts of yourself that feel lost or unheard.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of connection. I bring empathy, openness, and presence to our sessions, and I’ll walk alongside you as you begin to gain clarity, build self-awareness, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to you.

Taking the first step can feel daunting — but reaching out is an act of strength. If you're ready, I'm here to listen.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Counselling from the University of Sunderland, and my professional experience includes working across local charities and within the NHS Primary Care Network. This has given me the opportunity to support people from all walks of life, dealing with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
