About me
Hi, I’m Scott. I work with young people who feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about who they are or where they’re heading.
You might be struggling with friendships, family, school stress, identity, or just feeling different from everyone around you. Maybe things feel confusing or like they’re getting too much.
I’m a trained therapist, and my approach is flexible; there’s no one-size-fits-all. We work together in a way that suits you. It’s your space, and we go at your pace.
My school experience was difficult at times, and I wish I had the benefit of counselling for support, so becoming a counsellor and coach has been a powerful and transformative part of my own journey. Now, I use what I’ve learned to support others going through their own struggles, especially young people who might feel like they’re carrying too much, or that no one really gets what they’re going through.
Alongside my private work, I also support students in local schools, so I understand how much pressure school life can bring and how hard it can be to open up. I believe in creating a space where you feel safe to talk about what’s really going on, no pressure, no judgment.
You Might Be Feeling:
- Anxious, low, or overwhelmed
- Confused about your identity or where you fit in
- Under pressure at school or home
- Lonely, even when you’re around people
- Like you're pretending to be someone you’re not
- Unsure how to talk about big thoughts or feelings
- Frustrated, angry, or shut down
How It Works
We talk online or over the phone, whichever you prefer. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and you can book weekly at a time that works for you. Some people talk for a few weeks, others for longer, it’s up to you. You’ll have access to my online diary, so you can manage your sessions easily and reschedule if needed.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
