About me

Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, internal conflict, overwhelmed with life challenges, feeling stuck, etc, you are in the right place. I am passionate about helping people explore these feelings and emotions in a safe and confidential space, look for ways to cope, feel better and move forward. I work with a wide range of issues, including, anger management, self-esteem, stress, relationship breakdown, PTSD, bereavement/grief, domestic violence and many others. I also offer Christian Counselling, a form of spiritual counselling to individuals that would like counselling tailored to their Christian perspective.

I provide a safe and confidential space where you can talk about your presenting issue. Person Centred Approach is my favourite approach as it enables me to be me, providing a listening ear, a warm heart to support you feel free to talk about whatever the issue may be, accepting you as you. This will also help us build a trustful working relationship.

Training, qualifications & experience

I I am a qualified registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist using Person Centred Approach, Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to work with you. This gives us the flexibility to use different technics and intervention that best suit you to meet your specific need. 

I hold Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative counselling and Psychotherapy and Postgraduate Certificate in Integrative Counselling and  Psychotherapy. 

I have over 450 hours of experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist and over 15 years of direct work with children and families in social care setting.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
