About me

I work in the community with a local mental health charity alongside my own practice based in Bolton, where I can offer a private and confidential service in a relaxed setting. I am a fully qualified and experienced person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist.

There is no person that I will not work with. I’m incredibly passionate about offering support to those who wish to explore their issues and emotions. I support positive mental health and well-being, regardless of an individual’s past, issues or background.

I want to make mental health services available to everyone without a waiting list. I recognise and understand how difficult it can be making that first step. Every session is tailor made to suit each client and lasts for 50 minutes, a mixture of skills is used to create a confidential and safe therapeutic space. I provide one to one individual, telephone and SKYPE sessions.

There is no expectation or pressure during sessions, the time is for you to talk or explore anything you wish, from issues, problems, feelings or emotions (it may simply be a judgement-free space to vent about the stresses of life).

Some may feel that after a couple of sessions they no longer need to attend, others may find a longer-term arrangement more suitable, I will always be there to review progress and offer support.
