Sarah Yules Relate Trained; PG Dip PST; COSRT Accred; ATSAC Registered
I am an experienced Counsellor and Psychosexual therapist and specialise in working with couples and individuals to create and maintain healthy relationships.
Relationships are central to our lives. Part of the therapy is about understanding oneself, which in turn helps us develop strong and loving relationships. As a Relate counsellor, of 22 years experience, this has always been at the core of my work.
An independent person can provide help, support and ways forward in our relationships with partners, family and friends. The therapy can also be about our relationship with sex, food, money, drink and work.
The first session is an important opportunity to assess that we are comfortable to work together. It is essential that as the client you feel confident to talk without being judged, that you feel listened to and respected. Please do call if you would like an informal chat to discuss your needs further.
I offer brief or long term therapy to clients of any sexual orientation.
Issues I work with include:
- Communication problems and relationship difficulties
- Relationship breakdown
- Coping with separation and the effect on children
- Rebuilding a relationship after an affair
- Concerns about intimacy
- Changes for the couple/individual as a result of illness, surgery, infertility or bereavement
I offer Personal and Individual counselling and help with a range of issues:
- Family worries
- Depression and anxiety
- Panic attacks
- Self Esteem
It can be devastating to discover that we have a sexual problem. It can be very difficult to talk about and often we shut down and sex and intimacy stop. Sex therapy offers a supportive and safe place to explore the issues and needs of one another. It is a cognitive behavioural programme and I offer practical and confidential help in re-establishing intimacy.
As a qualified Psychosexual Therapist and Sex Addiction Therapist I treat:
- Erectile dysfunction
- Premature ejaculation
- Loss/lack of sexual desire
- Painful intercourse
- Orgasm difficulties
- Difficulties as a result of sexual abuse and rape
- Sex and Internet Pornography Addiction
