I provide counselling to couples or individuals experiencing relationship problems. I use an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on different theoretical frameworks, psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioural therapy, amongst others.
My approach is based on respect, empathy and non-judgement. For many people the idea of speaking to a counsellor can be intimidating or even frightening. Essentially professional counselling is a conversation in a safe environment with a trained listener who can help you (as a couple or an individual), to examine and explore the troubling areas. Through the process of Counselling this can help you develop a better understanding of the issues and ways in which to deal with them.
The client's interests are at the heart of all my counselling work. I provide a safe, confidential environment for you to explore relationship issues and get the support you need from a professional, qualified and experienced counsellor.
My counselling is available to anyone over 16, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion. My counselling involves meeting for a session in a therapeutic setting which lasts for 50 minutes, the number of sessions will vary depending on your particular needs.
