About me

I am a fully qualified, experienced Counsellor. (In process of relocating to Sheffield)

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I am trained in and use a variety of techniques to best suit individual clients. I can help with a wide range of issues. I offer mainly Person-centred therapy. I work non-judgmentally with warmth, empathy and understanding and have a calm, gentle, caring approach.

People come to see me when they are facing difficulties in their life and troubles from their past.

Sometimes they don't really know what is troubling them, they just know that something is not quite right. Everyone is different, so I work with each person's specific need.

I work with many areas of counselling including:

  • Domestic Violence
  • Emotional Abuse
  • Physical Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Psychological Abuse
  • Financial Abuse
  • Narcissistic Abuse
  • Organisational or institutional abuse
  • Covid Trauma
  • Self-neglect
  • Grief/Loss

I have integrity and am down to earth, I have a calm style of working. I believe in making the counselling experience as comfortable as possible, even when exploring difficult issues and yes, dare I say, sometimes I can make the experience enjoyable.

I look forward to welcoming you. So please contact me today. I am also on Facebook meaning you can book with me on there too!

If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
