About me
I specialise in helping people who struggle with low self-esteem and self-compassion. If this resonates with you, I can support you in quieting your inner critic, processing past or recent events that bring guilt or shame, and finding ways to be kinder to yourself.
You might be dealing with mental health challenges like OCD, PTSD, anxiety, or depression, but you don’t need an official diagnosis to seek support—I’m here to help wherever you are on your journey.
Appointments are available remotely via video call or in person at my cosy home garden studio near Oakley, Basingstoke.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and am accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. I am qualified in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy primarily, but am also trained to use Compassionate Focused Therapy and can create bespoke, individualised therapy plans that utilise both of these to provide you with the care you need.
I have worked in the mental health sector for over 7 years. During this time I have worked for the NHS, a local university and a mental health charity.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
It can feel intimidating to open up to someone you don’t know, so I thought I’d share a little about myself beyond being a therapist.
I love gardening—though last year, some cheeky rabbits enjoyed my vegetables more than I did! I’m an avid reader with a goal of finishing 35 books this year. And as a snack enthusiast, I always keep plenty of biscuits on hand for in-person sessions!
I’ve also experienced struggles with low self-esteem in the past and know how challenging it can be. That personal journey has inspired me to help others build confidence and self-compassion, knowing firsthand how transformative it can be.
