About me

'Hi, I'm Sarah and I am a humanistic Integrative Counsellor. This means we will build a working relationship which will focus on achieving your goals at your pace, without judgement. It also means that I may work with other approaches, such as Psychodynamic theory, Attachment theory or Transactional Analysis. Mostly, it means I am warm, friendly, approachable and passionate about enabling people to reach their potential in a way that suits our unique relationship. I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and the British Psychological Society.

I have considerable experience working within mental health with adults and children, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders across educational, care and therapeutic settings. I also have experience working in Alcohol and Drug Recovery service and bereavement.
I am currently in private practice and am available Thursdays. I also volunteer my services at an established local service.
