Sarah J Counselling (Sarah Smith DipCouns.MBACP)
At times in our lives we can feel overwhelmed or puzzled by our responses to life advents. Admitting we need help is difficult and can leave us feeling ashamed. In my experience counselling can help us gain a better understanding of ourselves and enable us to have the inner strength to make the changes we want.
I offer face to face counselling in a safe confidential space, the sessions are your sessions, I will listen to your concerns with empathy and be non-judgemental. My aim is to help you explore your thoughts and feelings. To support and enable you to find the strategies to make changes in your life for a better future.
One of the questions you maybe asking yourself is how long will it take? In my experience there is no set answer for this as we are unique individuals with our own problems. So I offer:
- Fixed term counselling: typically 6 sessions.
- Short term counselling: 6 to 10 sessions.
- Open-ended counselling: as many as you feel you need.
The sessions are at the same venue and time each week and last for 50 Minuets.
The first session is an assessment: the opportunity to decide if counselling is right for you and if we can work together on your concerns. For you to explain your problems, what expectation you have, ask any questions about my service and ways of working.
Venue Billericay, 5 minuets from a Bus stop, 15 minuets walk from the train station and with ample street parking.
