About me
Hello and welcome to my page.
I’m Sarah, a compassionate and empathetic integrative counsellor, offering a confidential, safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore and navigate the challenges that you may be facing.
I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, recognising the importance of understanding, support, and acceptance.
I offer short or long-term counselling to suit your needs.
What Can I Help With?
Depression & Anxiety: Depression and anxiety can be difficult to navigate, and I aim to support you in a way that feels right for you. In our work together, you’ll have the space to guide the process, helping us to focus on what matters most to you. This may be exploring your feelings and finding techniques that fit your unique needs, empowering you to manage and reduce their impact at your own pace.
Neurodivergent challenges: I understand the challenges that neurodiverse conditions, such as Autism and ADHD, can have on individuals and families. I work collaboratively with you to explore and listen to your individual experience and offer support and understanding to enhance well-being.
Relationship Issues: Whether you’re struggling with communication, conflict, or navigating transitions in your relationships. I can support you to gain insight into patterns and find healthier ways of connecting with others.
Self-Esteem & Confidence: Low self-esteem can be a barrier to living a fulfilling life. I support clients to explore what may be behind these challenges and work at your pace to build your sense of self-worth and self-compassion, empowering you to embrace your strengths and develop a healthier relationship with yourself.
Parent Carers: The unique emotional and practical struggles that come with being a parent carer can be overwhelming. I offer support in managing stress, balancing personal needs, and developing coping strategies and offer a space for these challenges to be truly heard and understood.
I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I will work alongside you in a collaborative and supportive way.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and work to build trust and understanding with each of my clients. If you are struggling with any of the challenges listed or are feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what step to take next then please get in touch to arrange a free initial 15 minute consultation to see whether you’d like to work together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
