I am a qualified psychotherapist and an experienced mental health practitioner, having previously worked for many years as a mental health nurse in the NHS.
As a psychotherapist in private practice I have been able to help people explore, manage and overcome a wide range of personal and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self esteem, relationship problems and work stress.
We will work together to identify, understand and change the thought and behaviour patterns that are keeping you from being the happiest and healthiest that you can be. I will work hard to help you to understand, manage and overcome the problem that has brought you to therapy, and often other problems in your life too. You will develop new skills which will help you to meet future challenges in your life with more confidence and strength.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). I have an MA and Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I am registered with UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
