About me
My name Is Sarah and I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I have extensive experience as a counsellor and have worked for Base 25, Relate, Birmingham Hospice, Mapleleaf Counselling and Training Centre and I am now Head of Counselling in a cancer charity. I also run my own private practice. I am a trained in working with children and young People. I have specialised for many years in working with serious health issues and people with a terminal diagnosis. I am passionate about pre and post bereavement counselling. I also specialise in working with clients from the LGBTQ+ Community and have a particular focus in working with clients with trauma in a trauma informed way.

I am an integrative counsellor. I mainly work as a person centred counsellor but also use cognitive behavioural therapy, psychoanalysis and other counselling theories depending on the needs of my clients.
I offer a service to children, adolescents and adults. I work with a range of issues including mental health difficulties, bereavement and loss, redundancy, divorce and relationship issues, anxiety and depression, health worries and many more.
