About me

Hello my name is Sarah, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I believe that people matter above all else, and that the process of counselling has the ability to change lives and to empower individuals.

I am passionate about what I do and the positive impact that Counselling can have to help restore balance and to enable people to live happy lives.

I work in private practice as well as for Mind and the Teamwork trust a local charity. My counselling practice is based a few miles from Market Harborough in the peaceful village of Foxton.  I offer one-to-one counselling face-to-face, online via video sessions or on the telephone.

I offer a professional counselling service working with your best interests at heart. The nature and number of sessions will be tailored to suit your needs and will be guided by our work together.

I will listen without judgement working with you to increase your self-awareness helping you to gain a deeper understanding of who you are as a person..

Through a trusting relationship I will provide a safe space in which I hope you will feel very excepted and understood so that you can be in touch with your feelings and talk, without fear, about anything which concerns you. We can explore how you feel and possible links to your values, beliefs, behaviours and patterns of relating, helping you to make sense of your experiences.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
