Sometimes we can feel anxious and overwhelmed causing low mood, sleep disturbance, worry and panic. Unhelpful negative thought patterns might increase feelings of helplessness and worry which can lead to losing hope that things will get better.
Counselling can help you to explore your current emotional state and situation, giving you back your power and hope. The counselling relationship is caring, supportive and empowering where you can learn new coping strategies, set yourself free of limiting beliefs and make changes in your life for the better.
It is a human need to feel fulfilled, loved and have a sense of belonging. Counselling can support you in finding your way forward to happiness and fulfillment in life.
As a counsellor I am committed to supporting and empowering people in their journey through life helping them to be the best they can be and release unwanted habits and behaviours. I use a range of therapeutic techniques such as Psychotherapy, counselling, NLP, Coaching and Mindfulness so that each individual receives a tailored service to meet their needs and overcome challenges. I work from a principle and belief that everyone has the inner resources they need, or they can create them given the right conditions for change. I provide a warm and welcoming environment that is confidential and I follow a code of ethics to ensure my practice is ethical and safe. I am committed to continuing professional development and continually update my knowledge and skills to provide my clients with the service they deserve.

I offer one to one counselling sessions in a confidential and ethical practice. I also deliver group sessions in the 6 week mindfulness stress reduction course and women's wellbeing programmes. £50 per hour for a one to one session. Change can happen quickly using the correct therapeutic tools and from my experience there is usually no need for more than 6 sessions.
Mindfulness courses are £100 for 6 sessions of 2 hours per session. These courses run regularly, please contact me for dates and venues if you are interested in accessing mindfulness as a way to reduce stress, anxiety and worry and improve general health and well being.
'This Happy woman' course is delivered over 6 weeks, 2 hours per week. Aimed specifically for women who want to improve their wellbeing and find inner peace and calm even when life seems chaotic and stressful. You will learn mindfulness techniques, self hypnosis, Psychological models to reduce stress, improve relationships and find your purpose and passion in life. An opportunity for women to support women in a nurturing, comfortable and relaxed environment. Course costs £100 for 6 weeks.
Meditation courses run over 6 weeks, 1.5 hours per session. Whether you are a beginner or well established in meditating, this course is suitable for all levels. During each session you will learn new meditations with a different focus each week.
