Sarah Calvert B.A. Post grad dip Psych UKCP COSRT Psychosexual & Relationship
About me
Most people find themselves in crisis at some point in their lives. Counselling and Psychotherapy can help.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from a variety of different theoretical models to find the methods of working that best suit you and your needs.
I am a qualiied Sex and Relationship Therapist working with both individuals and couples. I have experience working with a broad range of sexual and relationship problems including: erectile dysfuction, premature ejaculation, lack of sexual desire, uncomfortable sex, complusive porn use, affairs, communication issues, abuse, seperation and issues surrounding 'blended families'. I am also a general practice psychotherapist and clinical supervisor and have substantial experience working with issues such as: depression, anxiety, anger and low self-esteem.
As well as using the usual talking therapy, which is normally where the client talks to therapist and the therapist listens offering insight, I can also use more creative tools such as working with dreams, guided visualisations and drawings, to help us explore the issues together.
I offer both short and longer term therapy, depending on what you wish to gain from the therapy experience, in a safe and confidential environment.
I have a wide range of experience, working with many different types of individuals and couples with a variety of different problems, both within private practice and within the NHS.
I am UKCP and COSRT accredited and I abide by both the UKCP and COSRT code of ethics.
Please do contact me if you would like talk about how we could work together.
With Best Wishes
Sarah
