About me

Are you struggling with a difficulty in your life and need help to find a way forward? I’m an integrative therapist and I am committed to making a difference to my clients lives and offer a warm, compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental therapy service based in the centre of Stockport.

I take the view that there is no single approach that can treat every client, in all situations. I therefore offer an approach to counselling that combines different elements of several specific therapies so as to enable me to provide the appropriate interventions for each individual.
I believe there is always hope for healing and the key to this is feeling heard, understood, respected and valued.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have successfully worked with clients enabling them to overcome many issues, including; anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, family and relationship issues, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, and stress. I am experienced in helping clients to recover from emotional distress caused by abuse. Sessions take place in my warm and private counselling room in Stockport. I offer face-to-face sessions as well as online counselling to individuals depending on individual preferences. It is my goal to create a comfortable and safe counselling space for you whether that be in person or online. For more information please do get in touch. I'm always happy to hear from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
