We all experience difficulties in our lives and most of the time we cope. However sometimes events such as bereavement, illness, redundancy or separation leave us feeling unable to manage.
How you feel about yourself can also impact on your quality of life, for example; anxiety, low self esteem or depression. Whatever the situation counselling enables you to explore the options open to you and gives you the time and space to discover the best way forward.
I am an experienced and qualified Integrative counsellor, which means that I have studied various counselling philosophies which inform how I work.
Our work will be within a therapeutic relationship; a supportive process which we will develop together, enabling you to look at current or past difficulties in a safe and confidential environment.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I work in accordance with their Ethical Framework of good practice.
