I have over 10 year’s post-qualification experience as an Integrative Psychotherapist working with adults in private practice. I worked as an Honorary Psychotherapist in the NHS between 2010 - 2014.
I can see you at a more or less intense frequency, from 1 - 3 sessions per week, according to your needs. Before starting a therapy I would invite you for an initial consultation. This is a chance for us to meet and think about what you are looking for and how it might be to work together. The initial consultation is an hour and a quarter. Further consultations or ongoing sessions are 50 minutes.
My practice is based in South West London within easy reach of Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Town stations.
Training, qualifications & experience
My background is in the voluntary sector including 10 years as a caseworker, supervisor and trainer within a number of mentoring and befriending projects. These services were designed for the benefit of children from single parent families, adults recovering from a history of substance use and adults living with life-limiting illness respectively. They were underpinned by various theoretical models including an attachment based framework and solution focussed brief therapy.
My initial training was at the Chiron Centre for Body Psychotherapy which had a particular focus on the relationship between mind and body. Since graduating with the Diploma in 2007 I have pursued a growing interest in Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic thinking and practice. I spent four years working with adults as an Honorary Psychotherapist in the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy department of the East London NHS Foundation Trust alongside my private practce until 2014. My Continuous Professional Development includes further courses of study at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, The Bowlby Centre, Westminster Pastoral Foundation, The Institute of Psychoanalysis and the British Psychoanalytic Association. I am currently pursuing a formal interest in psychoanalysis at the British Psychoanalytic Association.

In the first instance it is usually helpful to have a preliminary telephone conversation. There is no charge for this and no obligation to take it further.
Thereafter, should we decide to take it forward, an appointment can be made for an initial consultation. This is a chance for us to meet in person. The initial consultation lasts for one and a quarter hours and the fee is £105. It may take several further consultations to reach a decision about working together. The fee for further consultations, which are 50 minutes, is £70.
If we agree to begin ongoing sessions, these are for a duration of 50 minutes and are held at regular agreed times each week. The fee for ongoing sessions is £70.
