Hi I'm Sara at Love to Live Therapies, thank you for visiting me here today, if you would like to find out a bit more about who I am and how I work or if you would like to book a reduced price introductory appointment please continue to read on and please feel free to contact me for further details.
My aim is to help and support you with your aim.
I am trained in many different therapies to help and heal those I support. We are all unique we hurt and heal in our own personal way.
I offer traditional counselling alongside holistic therapies and hypnotherapy.
Where do our sessions take place?
I work from my home in my counselling room which is a lovely calm safe place for our counselling time together. I offer appointments Monday - Friday from 9am - 9pm.
I know how important it is for your therapy to fit around your work, childcare and life commitments so I keep a flexible diary where you choose when and how often to have an appointment.
How many sessions will I need?I think it can be helpful to meet once a week to begin with but sometimes life commitments or finances mean we can't do that so its important that we plan the sessions around your needs and lifestyle, ultimately it's whatever works best for you and you are the best judge of that. You are in control of your therapy, you choose how often to have an appointment, how many sessions and when is best for you.
'what type of hypnotherapy do you require?' - well, the number of sessions will vary depending on your requirements, they will be agreed beforehand completion of the whole course is very important.
- for hypno birthing 2 or 3 sessions may be needed depending on the person.
- for hypno gastric band fitting the course is based on 8 sessions with the option of the band adjustment sessions if necessary.
Fees are of course based on the number of sessions, its best to discuss these in an introductory appointment where we can work your needs and suitability for hypnotherapy.
If you are unable to travel to counselling for whatever reason. We can arrange telephone counselling sessions or in some cases it may be possible to meet in your own home.
Some of the ways in which I may help you:
- Counselling (MSc)
- Creative Counsellor (PCEAT Advanced Cert)
- Multi sensory
- With or without words
- Hypnotherapist (Ad DipHyp)
For creative therapy we may work in my creative space which has paper, paints and
brushes, play dough and pastels, a treasure trove of things expressive.
Walk and Talk therapy
We may also work together with nature, walking outdoors or being in an outdoor environment using the garden as our outdoor time together. I also run Nature Wellbeing Workshops for small groups.
Nature is really therapeutic it can really enhance our time together and offers many uplifting benefits but not everyone likes to include it in our therapy so when we meet we can discuss which therapies you may like to choose to help you achieve your aim.
Training, qualifications & experience
In a nutshell
I have lived life's rich and challenging tapestry of experiences, I have been loved and love, I have been hurt and healed, we are all human, we have our own unique life experience which can sometimes feel confusing and maybe overwhelming.
'I am here to help you on your journey, how may I help you at this time?'
