About me

You deserve space to feel heard, held, and wholly yourself.
I’m Sara Dallat (BACP Registered), a qualified integrative therapist with over 700 hours of clinical experience. I hold Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Integrative Psychotherapy and offer remote counselling to adults across the UK through my practice, The Haelan Space.

I specialise in working with women, LGBTQ+ clients, and parents—particularly those feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or at a crossroads in life. My practice is inclusive, trauma-informed, and grounded in values of compassion, respect, and collaboration.

How I work:
I offer a gentle, grounded space where we can explore what’s coming up for you, without pressure or judgment. My integrative training draws from person-centred, psychodynamic, and relational approaches, allowing us to shape the work around your needs and pace. I pay close attention to the wider systems (e.g. racism, ableism, gender norms) that impact mental health and identity.

Areas I work with include:

Trauma and emotional overwhelm
Identity, self-worth, and belonging
LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse experiences
Parenting, fertility, Birth experiences and perinatal mental health
Grief and loss
Burnout and life transitions
What to expect:
Sessions are held online, providing flexibility and comfort. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to start.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
