About me
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to work with adults.
I offer both short and long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (In-person only). My consulting room is conveniently located in Borough, SE1, within a few minutes' walk from London Bridge and Borough Underground stations.
My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is distinctive, as it is both psychodynamic and insight-oriented. This means I encourage the development of self-awareness to gain insight and understanding of the unconscious dynamics and patterns that may be limiting or causing you distress. Through connected conversation and collaboration, we will explore your thoughts and feelings, helping to bring meaning and clarity to your experiences.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, unresolved trauma, or a general sense of unease, I can provide a space for you to feel heard and supported. Together, we will explore the possible underlying factors contributing to your emotional challenges and collaboratively work toward resolving them. Through this process, you will begin to understand what influences your thoughts and behaviours. Making these associations and links will help you understand yourself more deeply, gain clarity, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges with greater awareness, insight, and integration.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my core practitioner training at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy (with distinction). Since then, I have pursued further clinical training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at WPF Therapy.
I am currently undertaking advanced doctoral training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Clinical Practice (DPPClinPr) at the University of Exeter and the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF), which will lead to accreditation with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
I have experience working in private practice and within community mental health services including: NHS South London and Maudsley (SLaM), WPF Therapy and Highbury Counselling Centre. I am also a volunteer at Maytree, which is a non-medical respite centre for people experiencing acute suicidal crisis.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
