About me

Hello my name is Sandra, I am a professionally trained integrative therapist, I work in private practice, I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(MBACP) I work with adults one to one during the therapeutic process in a relaxed, confidential space.

The therapeutic models I draw from while working alongside individuals, (Integrative) are Psychodynamic, past learnt behaviour, which could be impacting in the here and now, which might be keeping you stuck, Humanistic, meaning you guide the sessions, and CBT, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, all sessions are tailored to you, I offer open-ended or short term at a pace that suits all.

Life has a way of delivering unexpected challenges that may result from pressures, loss, relationship breakdowns or an unexpected crisis.  During these difficult periods it is common to experience painful emotions, such as anxiety, depressions, or poor self-worth.

It may seem difficult to consider opening up your thoughts and feelings to a stranger. However this disclosure could be an important part in your journey of healing and growth. The benefits of being able to talk things through with someone who can listen and is committed during your journey towards positive change can be immense.

Clinical Experience

I have worked alongside individuals presenting with social and emotional issues, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship issues or just needing to talk through any concerns of feeling stuck in life.  I have training in sudden loss, bereavement and have supported individuals with family members who have been diagnosed with complex medical needs.

All sessions are tailored to your individual needs, short or long term, at a pace that feels comfortable for you, I will help you to explore any concerns that you are experiencing in a safe, non-judgemental compassionate way, while upholding the confidentiality, I feel it's important that clients feel supported within the therapeutic relationship.

Our 1st session together would be a 50 minute assessment, together we would explore what you would like from counselling, what has led you to seek counselling at this particular time in life and whether I am able to meet your needs, it will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions or concerns that you might have about the therapeutic process.

Please call or email me for a chat to arrange an initial appointment
