I trained in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. The medical community, such as the NHS, highly recognises Psychotherapy, as this type of therapy or counselling helps people understand how the past has influenced the present.
Psychotherapy offers a wealth of support and insight, helping individuals, couples, and groups gain a deeper understanding of their way of being.
Here are a few things that I can help with
Supporting neurotypicals, neurodivergent and neurodiverse individuals and couples with various mental health conditions, such as coping with life changes, transitions, Anxiety, depression, depression and providing support to learn and understand dyslexia, Autism and ADHD and creating better coping strategies.
People often turn to social media for advice, but they can feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of information; therapy helps with talking things through, going at your own pace, and finding healthy coping strategies that incorporate those already learnt.
How can I help further?
Communication style: I help clients understand their personality, communication style, and reactivity, as well as identify their triggers and anger management strategies.
Relationships: I help couples understand where things began to change and work towards improving relationships, moving towards a healthier relationship, or dissolving nd promoting individuality. Sometimes, having a voice in therapy provides the courage to have conversations that prove to be tricky.
Greif, when someone passes away, it can be hard to know how to grieve and anticipate grief. Stages of cancer are challenging to prepare for the ending alone; therapy can help with learning how to have essential conversations.
Rainbow Counselling
Child loss, I am qualified to provide therapy for individuals through the loss of a child to miscarriage, early infant death, or SIDS. Therapy offers a confidential environment, and you are no longer alone.
Anxiety, understanding the role anxiety plays, as Anxiety is a natural reaction to a stressful situation.
Depression, depression has many aspects and learning to understand how it affects you and being supported to find ways through can make a difference to your well-being.
Anticipated grief, a diagnosis can come as a shock. It can take the wind out of anyone's sails. Preparing for an ending that has been defined can become easier through talking therapy, creating memories, and being supported to have conversations that were previously avoided. Anticipated grief can be a time of clearing the decks or simply letting go; however, you choose to move forward towards the end of life, it is easier with support.
Greif; The loss of a loved one or the loss of someone difficult to love can be a difficult journey alone. Talking therapy can help with understanding what is left, finding answers and accepting that the process of grief does not end and often takes time to process to make that easier.
(not a conclusive list )
Supervision
I provide supervision for therapists using the Transactional Analysis modality. However, I also have experience and knowledge of integrating other therapies, such as CBT, Compassion-focused treatment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centred therapy, and mindfulness
Supervision is the most valuable and compassionate way to fine-tune the therapeutic style of helping others

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
