About me
My name is Sandra Massey, I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist who is based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. I am a member of both the National Counselling Society and National Hypnotherapy Society, and as such I abide by and adhere by their ethical codes and standards.
I have been trained in the integrative approach both in counselling and in hypnotherapy. I believe that both of these therapies should be modelled around the client that I am working with.
Counselling is a therapy which gives you the opportunity to speak to a trained professional within a safe and confidential space. As an integrative counsellor I will work with you to help you to explore your emotions, and at times, challenge them. I am not there to judge you, give advice or fix things. I am there to listen. You are the one who is in control. I tailor different approaches around you. We will work together to give you the mindset to enable you to move forward and live life how you want to.
I offer flexibility around school and work commitments; these include evening appointments. I have an Enhanced Debarring Background Check (DBS) and professional liability insurance.
