Sandra Fletcher MA Couns. MBACP (Accred). Pure Counselling Therapy
Hello there, having difficulty choosing a counsellor? I'm highly qualified with over 10 years extensive experience; I offer sessions Face to Face, via Skype or Telephone. Why not read on and check out my website to find out how I can help you...
Have you reached that point where you know something has to change? You may be experiencing any number of feelings - depressed, anxious, angry, guilty, sad, alone, frightened, uncertain... You don’t have to walk this path alone.
How I can help
I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space, where you can unpack issues and feelings, find respite and relief; whilst working towards a positive outcome. I offer warmth, empathy and understanding and put clients at ease. Together with my skills and experience plus your willingness to engage in the process, we can work together to find a way through your difficulties to a brighter tomorrow.
I believe that answers to our problems lie within us and we have the ability to heal and bring about change within the therapeutic relationship built between a client and counsellor. My private practice is called Pure Counselling Therapy, because quite simply it’s a natural organic process to provide emotional relief, promote healing, personal growth and change.
In over 10 years working as a counsellor, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diversity of clients, who have brought a vast range of issues and been fortunate to gain extensive experience. I’m an Integrative counsellor, which means I use elements from different therapeutic models as appropriate to meet your unique needs.
I also have a particular interest in healing from Trauma and PTSD. I provide early intervention sessions and empathic support to clients suffering with PTS as recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence). If you have been diagnosed with PTSD I will talk through with you the therapy I offer, assessing your individual needs. I am also a qualified rewind technique practitioner.
I practice from a therapy room attached to my home with a dedicated disabled friendly entrance. It overlooks the South Leicestershire countryside in a peaceful rural setting with off road parking. I’m just 3 miles from Lutterworth and the motorway network of Junction 20-M1, Junction1-M6, A5 & A14. Within easy reach of Market Harborough, Rugby, Blaby, Wigston, Broughton Astley, and surrounding villages. The towns of Hinckley & Northampton and City of Leicester are just a 30 minute drive.
I’m happy to answer any queries you may have and give you further information. Please call for a free confidential, no obligation consultation, to help you decide if I’m the counsellor you’d like to help you.

Skype & telephone counselling - Although face to face counselling remains clients preferred choice: skype or telephone counselling offer convenient options. In today’s fast paced world juggling home, family, work and appointments can be chaotic. Clients can choose a therapist from anywhere in the country and appreciate the convenience of having counselling at home or in their chosen private space. It can be a welcome option to individuals who may have difficulty with transport, disabilities or conditions which are limiting. It also enables face to face clients to maintain their regular counselling session when working away or travelling abroad.
How it works
SKYPE - a free computer application, that enables people to talk to each other in real time via their computer/screens on the internet. Both parties are visible to each other as in face to face counselling. I can help you to access and use Skype on your computer if you are unsure. You will need a fast broadband connection, webcam and microphone.
TELEPHONE – As with any telephone conversation the client and counsellor are invisible to each other. In consequence the focus is on sound and listening. The client is visibly anonymous to the counsellor. Some clients can find this helpful particularly if due to their history or issues, have difficulty discussing feelings/making disclosures face to face.
For Skype and Telephone sessions I contact clients for appointments. Clients need a private uninterrupted space to talk. There are some circumstances when it’s inappropriate to work remotely with clients e.g. if is in acute crisis/suicidal/need face to face interventions.
