Sandra DODDS - Registered Member MBACP
I am an integratively trained counsellor, which means that I am able to personalise the style of counselling to suit the individual needs of the client. I offer a professional, non-judgemental, confidential service for clients who need a safe, contained place and dedicated time to work through their issues, difficulties and conflicts.
My approach is warm and understanding. I place an emphasis on genuineness and acceptance, creating a safe space in which you can freely talk and share with me your distress worries and concerns without fear of judgement.
For whatever reason you have turned to counselling, I am here to listen and to support, to explore with you your issues and options, and to help you find a way forward.
Starting counselling can be scary and often people find it difficult to take the plunge. A good way to find out whether counselling feels right for you is to call or Email me to set up a FREE initial session. At this session we will talk about what you want to get out of counselling. Then, if you are happy to continue, we will set up a 2nd session and arrange to see you either weekly or fortnightly, depending on your availability and preference.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
