Sandra Dean (MBACP) Integrative Counsellor and Life Writing coach
Hello, my name is Sandra Dean and I am a fully qualified BACP registered integrative counsellor (60 minute sessions) and Life Writing coach. I have been professionally trained in person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Psycho-dynamic theories. I also offer Expressive Writing Therapy, Life Writing workshops and the use of Mindfulness. Writing has been a therapy for me, so I offer my workshops for individuals and groups.
My cosy, comfortable room is in Rayleigh Essex. I have two cats, in case of allergy. One of them is very chilled and I take him to a local care home where he puts a smile on many resident’s faces!
Please check the testimonials of previous clients on my website at www.essexdepressionandanxietycounselling.co.uk
I am fully insured with public liability insurance.
I can help you to make the most of life, to achieve better coping mechanisms for mental health, and many other things you wish to achieve. I work with a huge range of clients, covering mental health, relationship issues, self-esteem and confidence issues, self harm and life changes, plus much more.
I have campaigned for years against the stigma of mental health issues, and promote understanding, empathy and knowledge and am well known in the field of mental health.
I am an author of mental health memoirs, covering Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety and depression plus a successful self-help book for sufferers of Depression and Anxiety (pen name Amanda Green).
I had a lot of adversity in my younger years, for which I had various therapeutic help, and it was the realisation of how powerful talking therapies can be, that made me want to become a counsellor and help others as I was myself.
My fee is £40 per 60 minutes.
I also take on student counsellors at £30 per 60 minutes.
