Sandra Dean - Integrative Counsellor and Life Writing Coach
I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor (60-minute sessions) and Life Writing coach, working in a cosy, comfortable space where you will feel at ease.
I specialise in working with anxiety and low mood but have diverse experience in mental health, relationships, and life coaching.
How do I work?
I offer person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Psycho-dynamic theories, plus Expressive Writing Therapy and the use of Mindfulness. Students welcome (varied packages).
I have two cats, in case of allergy. One of them is very chilled and I take him to a local care home where he puts a smile on many resident’s faces!
Please check the testimonials of previous clients on my website at www.essexdepressionandanxietycounselling.co.uk
- I am fully insured with public liability insurance.
How can I help you?
I can help you to make the most of life, to achieve better coping mechanisms for mental health, and many other things you wish to achieve. I work with a huge range of clients, covering mental health, relationship issues, self-esteem and confidence issues, self-harm and life changes, plus much more.
I have campaigned for years against the stigma of mental health issues, and promote understanding, empathy and knowledge and am well known in the field of mental health and as the author of mental health memoirs and a self-help book.
I had a lot of adversity in my younger years, for which I had various therapeutic help, and it was the realisation of how powerful talking therapies can be, that made me want to become a counsellor and help others.
