About me
I am a mum of 4 and a nana of 8.
Having worked with families in a different role for many years, in recent years I have chosen to retrain in order to use existing skills to benefit and empower others.
I am an integrative practitioner with Person Centred Therapy as my core modality. However, I adapt my approach to suit each individual.
I provide a safe space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
My career to date has been in social work, working with children and families in a variety of social work roles.
As a therapist ,I have volunteered for a cancer therapy centre, a secondary school and for "Aspire", taking referrals from "Turning Point", which helps those managing addiction.
I believe that we can all benefit from therapy at different times in our lives and look forward to welcoming you, if you feel I am the right person for you at this time.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
In addition, I have a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills.
I have, over the years, completed a number of courses in Attachment, Transactional Analysis, Marital Counselling, etc
I have an enhanced DBS certificate and Level 3 Safeguarding.
