Arabic language: It can be helpful to have therapy in your first language. As well as being able to use words you are familiar with, I understand the cultures and customs of the Middle East.

LGBT: I have extensive experience of working with the LGBT community. Any issue around gender or sexuality can be explored frankly and fully, without fear of judgement.

Getting started

Please call or email to ask any questions or to arrange an initial consultation.

The first step is to arrange a time and venue for an initial appointment, with no obligations. This is a chance for me to find out more about your situation and for you to ask any questions you might have.

We will discuss practical arrangements, such as time, venue and frequency of appointments (I mostly offer counselling on a weekly basis at a set time and venue).

There is no limit on the number of appointments – we can review as we go along. For some, six appointments might be enough to make significant progress with a specific issue. For others, longer-term therapy is helpful for looking at their life situation as a whole.

Fees

The cost for appointments varies according to location, with a small number of concessionary rates available. Fees will be discussed before you attend your first appointment.

Note: appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at the full fee (subject to significant circumstances).
