About me
Hello, I'm Samantha, a fully qualified, HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and a full member of BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists).
I have worked with children, young people and their families for over 20 years in both education and supporting roles in Charities, before qualifying as an art therapist 14 years ago. I work with all ages from young child - adult, using the creative process and therapeutic relationship to help support expression of feelings and experiences.
I fully believe in the transformative effect that art therapy can have upon an individual - helping to create clarity and understanding about ones relationships, past experiences, feelings, emotions and thoughts.
No previous experience or skill is necessary - art therapy focuses on the act and process of creating / mark making / playing and using the materials and not on the aesthetic quality of what is made.
I offer a free consultation where we can discuss your requirements and answer any questions that you may have.
